Syesha Mercado - The Locke

Where has this Syesha been all competition? I really didn't understand why she was advancing week after week until Broadway night, and then her two performances this week finally showed what kind of an artist she can be if she just lets loose. "Proud Mary" may have not been her best performance to date, but she was still able to have fun and dance around, something most of the other contestants have still yet to actually do. Tears may have also boosted in her voting factor, after "A Change Is Gonna Come" even prompted Simon to say she did an amazing job. Being in the final three is good for Syesha for more than just advancing in the competition, but also she could be a huge wrench in the plans to have a David's finale. While both of the David's have a strong fan base, there are also many who do not like either of them. Could Syesha become the anti-vote in all of this, and will people vote for her in order to knock out one of the David's? Most likely not, Syesha is a great singer but her time will most likely be up come final three. Still, it would be interesting to see if she can outshine both of the guys.
