It turns out to be quite a busy day for our favorite upper eastsiders. Dan starts the day frantically looking for Serena, who he has not heard from all night. As he calls her cell phone dozens of times, Serena is shown stumbling into Blair's apartment completely wasted and utterly depressed. Dan finally decides to head to Blair's apartment hoping for some word on his missing girlfriend. He finds Serena, who lies to him and tells him that she slept with another guy the night before. Serena feels the truth would be too much for Dan to handle. After Dan angrily storms out, Serena explains to her friends Chuck, Nate and Blair, the real reason she has to lie to her boyfriend. Last year, after she had just slept with Nate, and was incredibly drunk, she went back to her frienemy Georgina's apartment. Unbeknownst to Serena, Georgina had set up a camera in the room and had made plans for her friend Pete to seduce Serena on camera. Serena was not giving into Pete's sexual advances and suggested that they do a line of cocaine instead of hooking up.
