By now, you probably already know all the drama that went into recording Day26's self-titled debut. If you've watched Diddy's Making the Band 4, you'll know that Brian, Mike, Que, Willie and Robert, the members of the R&B quintet, went through a lot of trouble to make the group's final cut. That included cheesecake runs to Brooklyn, physical injuries and forced exercise. These dudes have clearly been put through the works.
But Day26, the fruits of the group's hard labor, makes it worth all the trouble that went into recording it. The album is a finely produced R&B record featuring soulful production from beatmakers like Mario Winans, The Hitmen and The Runners. Diddy, of course, serves as executive producer, but he lets the boys have their shine as they churn out 13 tracks with expensive-sounding beats and, naturally, beautiful harmonies.
