Politics as usual with this Missouri-based quartet.
This New York-based quartet is prepared to rock in '09.
The hard rock quintet gets sinister on "Cinco Diablo."
Sticking to what they do best on their fifth album.

Tegan and Sara take on NYC

Some of you may have only just heard of Tegan and Sara, but they have been professionally touring and making music for a decade. These twins have a special way of sucking you in the moment you first discover them. And when they perform, their onstage sisterly banter between songs helps the audience connect with the duo and look at them as human beings, rather than stars.

But the sisters are willing to connect on a much more intimate level with their fans. Both are openly gay, and have helped many young people cope with the difficulties of being open about their sexuality. They are quick to profess their straight edge ways to the audience in a hilarious segue to a heartbreaking song about love and life. So when I heard they were coming to NYC, I knew I had to get tickets right away!

Monday, May 12 finally arrived and I was on my way to see them at Terminal 5. The venue is large and less intimate than I would have liked, but everyone who didn't want to push their way to the front of the stage made the smart decision to head to the first balcony where the view was much better.

I was introduced back in 2002, I believe. To Tegan and Sara's
music.
The only problem is that, sadly I know absolutely no one around
where I live who likes their music. So I am left alone to enjoy
there wonderful music. Three days before my birthday, I found out
that they would be in town the day after my brithday, But they
were already sold out. But their music is awesome and everyone
should listen to it atleast once and give it a chance ^_^
Oh man, I've been listening to Tegan and Sara for years and years
and years!!! I absolutely love their music!!!
I LOOOOOVE TEGAN AND SARA. I happen to think their music is
phenominal... and I love their newest album, especially the songs
"Are You Ten Years Ago?" and "Floorplan". They're amazingly
awesome!
