Headphones these days are much more than just a means to rock out to your favorite bands; they've become accessories in and of themselves. Problem is, it's often hard to find a pair that looks as good as they sound. (Let's face it: those plain earbuds that come with your iPod are mediocre in both departments.) We scoured the web to find ones worth splurging on.

V-Moda Earbuds
They're certainly a pricey little pair of earbuds, but they also deliver the most bass for your buck. If you couldn't tell by the price tag, they're not cheaply made. Despite my tendency to destroy almost anything electronic, these things have endured years of inner purse abuse. Their sound quality is second to none too. You may never have to purchase another pair of earbuds for as long as you live.
Panasonic Headphones
As far as huge bulbous headphones go, these are fairly demure - sort of. The price isn't terribly inflated at $60, and the powder pink finish isn't louder than the music coming out of them. The attached headband and earphones are ultra-padded so they're super comfy - perfect for dozing off on the train with.
