What Happens in Vegas

Perfect for a summer date night.

What Happens in Vegas may seem like it takes place solely in Vegas, but the first 15-20 minutes is the only time actually spent in Vegas. Overall I thought this was a cute light-hearted comedy.

Everyone has different opinions/likes and tastes, but I personally thought that this movie was a good, funny movie. According to Rotten Tomatoes, they didn't care for this movie too much. They gave Baby Mama a good rating, but I personally think this had humor that was more my style.

Obviously when you read a review, you're just reading a synopsis followed by an opinion, so here's what the movie was about. It stars Cameron Diaz as Joy and Ashton Kutcher as Jack. Jack just lost his job and Joy just got her heart broken by her live-in boyfriend and so they both decide to go to Vegas to relieve the stress.

After one drunken night in Vegas, Joy finds herself waking up in the morning with a ring on her finger. Jack and Joy know nothing about each other so they decide that they want to have the marriage annulled until Jack puts Joy's quarter in a random slot machine and wins $3 million.

i went to see it with my mom, we didn't expect it to be that
great. turned out to be hilarious, lots of 'laugh out loud'
moments.
it's a different plot too, not those typical, predictable stories.
