The ones that get you thinking

To some, the most important days of our lives are the ones that have the most songs written about them: birthdays, graduations and weddings. These types of songs help bring excitement to these important events by enhancing them with a soundtrack.

Now, it's graduation season, and for the next couple of weeks, all you're going to hear on the radio are songs that have to do with moving on to the next level of academia. There are three that come to mind that give off an inspirational and life-changing vibe: Vitamin C's "Friends Forever (Graduation Song)," Green Day's "Time of Your Life" and Eve 6's "Here's to the Night."

Vitamin C's "Friends Forever" shows both the joy and sadness of meetings friends and having to move on to the next level, featuring the lyrics "As we go on we remember / All the times we had together." The song embodies the exact feelings that go through the minds of those who are saying goodbye. Thinking about graduating can be a very emotional subject, and this song does a sincere job of touching upon all the feelings that come with moving on.

"Graduation" is a great song!! It's played every year at my

"Here's to the Night" is about a one-night stand...
