Living Lohan

"Burning Down the House"

Those "normal" Lohans were out being normal and boring on this week's episode of Living Lohan. The cliffhanger from last week's episode is finally resolved when Ali and Dina both confront Jeremy, the musician helping Ali, over the lies he has been telling the press. Jeremy apologizes for implying to the tabloids that he is in a relationship with Lindsay. Dina and Ali accept his apology but also warn him about the dangers of the paparazzi and how mean and destructive the press can be. Dina and Ali whine a little more about how awful the tabloids have made their life. Unfortunately, viewers of Living Lohan will feel no sympathy for the Lohans and their tales of woe.

The second major plot point of this week's episode is a "horrific" electrical fire that starts at the Lohan homestead. Dina is out celebrating a magazine launch in NYC, while Ali, Cody and their cousin stay home. They enter the house and smell smoke, and are immediately freaked out. Ali plays hero and calls the fire department, and they quickly arrive at the house. The firemen find a small electrical fire that has burnt a whole in the wall. Ali and Cody both have sore throats and both get checked out by EMTs. This small, invisible fire, that leaves a small quarter size hole in the wall, makes it again hard for the viewers to feel any sort of sympathy for the Lohans.

To make matters even more exciting Dina brings an electrician to the house the next day. She is taught what went wrong with her wires in her house, and Dina and her assistant then go online to look at different fire prevention techniques. Is it fire safety month, or is learning about bad electrical wires now considered entertaining? The only logical explanation must be that the producers of Living Lohan must have some wires crossed in their heads. The real emergency is that Living the vida Lohan needs some real drama and fast.
