The MTV Movie Awards

The stars were out on Sunday night for the wildest and craziest award show that honors the movies. The MTV Movie awards, hosted by Mike Myers, had a bevy of stars present. Charlize Theron, Johnny Depp, Sarah Jessica Parker and Lindsey Lohan were just some of the A-list celebs that graced the stage for the awards. The night was filled with dancing, hysterical sketches, live performances and of course the handing out of the coveted golden popcorn statuettes.

The night began with a dance off between Mike Myers and Chris Brown. Chris Brown's dance moves are always impressive, but Mike Myers was able to keep up and did a surprisingly good job. The first award went to Ellen Page, for best performance by a female for her performance in Juno. Other memorable winners include Will Smith for best male performance in I Am Legend, Zac Efron for best breakthrough performance for Hairspray and Transformers won for best movie of the year.

Since it's MTV they of course have to hand out a few zany awards. Best kiss which went to Briana Evigan and Robert Hoffman for Step Up 2 the Streets, who passionately made out on stage. Best fight went to Sean Ferris and Cam Gigandet for Never Back Down. The MTV Generation Award, which is MTV's equivalent to a Lifetime Achievement Award, went to Adam Sandler, who performed a hilarious song about how great of an actor he is.
