The bachelors' feelings for DeAnna grow stronger as the remaining 12 men get to know her even better. Graham, Paul and Jeremy are the lucky gents who get to move into the mansion with DeAnna for a few days while the remaining guys stay in the guest house with the bunk beds. The competition heats up as the guys know they will soon be whittled down to nine.
DeAnna chooses Richard to go on a romantic one-on-one date. The two of them have a romantic dinner followed by a carriage ride through Los Angeles. It is obvious that Richard has started to develop real feelings for DeAnna, but sadly his feelings are unrequited. DeAnna realizes there is no romantic spark between them and she sends him home mid-date. Richard is sad but understanding.
The next day there is a cowboy-themed group date. DeAnna and her bachelors learn how to line dance and later there is a mechanical bull riding contest. Jesse wins the bull riding contest and gets awarded with one-on-one time with DeAnna. Robert realizes he has to step it up if he wants to win DeAnna's affections and he confides in her that he has real feelings for her and would like to see where their relationship can go. DeAnna is touched by his sincerity and Robert receives a rose.
