Joey returns to the house after 30 days in rehab. Everyone is excited about his return, but most of the housemates go back to their hard partying ways as soon as he gets home. Sarah is the only roommate who is a good friend to Joey and stays home with him while the others are out drinking. Joey is hurt by his roommate's lack of respect for his addictions. He confides in his boss at the improv club, Charna, how much of a struggle it is for him to live with drinkers. Charna sits the other roommates down and she tells them that they all need to do whatever they can to help Joey stay on the path of recovery. The roommates agree they need to be more sensitive towards Joey's problems.The roommates go out to a bar one evening and run into Janelle and Zach from the Real World: Key West. Janelle promises to help Will out and use some of her connections to get him into the music biz. Will immediately takes a liking to Janelle and the two go out for drinks a few days later. It is apparent that Will is no longer interested in Janelle just for her music connections, but that he has a real serious crush on her.
