Chilling in matching attire at Atlantic Records' studio room in New York City, Pretty Ricky had their minds set on one thing: Pretty Ricky. The R&B quartet was visiting the Big Apple to promote their upcoming album 80's Babies and were only concerned with doing just that, dodging Kiwibox VJ Kylie's questions and going off on tangents instead of giving straightforward answers. But the guys deserve credit for giving their album as many plugs as they did, and throughout the course of the 40-minute interview, the boys clearly gave it their all as they talked up the record.
The Miami-based group may look a bit different than they did when they dropped their debut Bluestars. Back in 2005, Slick'Em, Baby Blue, Spectacular and Pleasure P first hit the jackpot with hits like "Grind with Me" and "Your Body," propelling their album to platinum status and solidifying a vast teenage fan base. The gold-certified 2007 follow-up Late Night Special didn't fare as well, but still reached the number one spot on Billboard's album charts and spawned the smash single "On the Hotline."
