The red carpet premiere of M. Night Shyamalan's The Happening was hot. Way hot. Considering the triple digit temperatures enveloping New York's Ziegfield Theater combined with the crush of fans and smokin' stars, it's a wonder nobody's stretch-limo didn't spontaneously combust. But it's not like the hubbub was unwarranted. This was, after all, the famed director's first-ever R-rated movie with a top-notch cast including Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel, and John Leguizamo.
