When your songs are featured in the film version of Bratz, you know you're on you way to stardom. For Prima J, the Latina duo hailing from Los Angeles, this reality has helped jumpstart their career, with their song "Rockstar" blowing up on Radio Disney and their cover of Alicia Keys' "Nadia (No One)" making a splash on radio.

Janelle and Jessica Martinez are gearing up for the release of their new album Inside Out, a glossy pop-'n-b concoction featuring the bangin' tracks "Cars That Go Boom" produced by JR Rotem and a dash of Spanish flavor on "Corazon (You're Not Alone)." The girls just released a video for their cover of their favorite Keys jam, and as their album release date approaches, the girls are on a whirlwind promotional jaunt to make sure you hear them loud and clear.

Where does the name come from, you ask? Well, Prima means "cousin" in Spanish, and that's exactly what the girls are. But as they chat with Kiwibox VJ Joanna, they let it be known that they are super tight and don't let their familiarity with one another lead to fights. As the girls hide out from the New York City rain in their management office, they talk to Kiwibox about their upcoming album, what it's like to hear your song blast in the movie theater and how they've got love for Alicia Keys.
