Cousins Jessica and Janelle Martinez, who make up the Latina pop duo Prima J, have been quite the busy bees as they've geared up for their debut self-titled album. The two, who first got their start by having the song "Rock Star" featured in the Bratz movie, have built a name for themselves by popping up all over the Internet with installments of them recording in the studio, chilling in their home and wildin' out on the set of music videos. The girls even recorded a cover of Alicia Keys' "No One" and sang it in Spanish (renaming it "Nadia") and giving it the music video treatment, adding more fans to their growing devotees.

But the time has come for the girls to step into the spotlight by releasing their debut album. The result, Prima J, is a sheer pop confection, brimming with 13 tracks of glossy pop with nothing but attitude. The girls are sassy and the tracks burst with personality, switching between sexy whispers and full-out rap chants. But the pair is using their debut to shed the "nice girl" attitude attached to them from being on the Bratz soundtrack, making this CD as spicy as it is sweet.
