Susan is still angry over finding Sylvia's business card in her husband Bruce's pants. She thinks maybe religion will help stabilize her family and she forces everyone to go to church with her, all the while keeping her growing anger under wraps. While over at Trina and Tom's house for a swim, Susan becomes noticeably upset when Sylvia and her husband show up. She storms out of the pool party. Bruce doesn't understand what has gotten into her and he confronts her. Susan admits to finding the business card, but Bruce reassures her that he simply was trying to make friends with another couple.

Meanwhile, Susan is still having a hard time juggling her new friends with her old friends. In order for all her friends to bond she decides to throw a housewarming party. She asks Janet to help her host it and Janet is thrilled that Susan is once again reaching out to her. Once the party starts it becomes obvious that her new neighbors are not meshing well with her old neighbors. Janet plans some party games to get conversation going, but Trina outshines her with her own game that involves fondue and kissing. Janet and Trina soon start to argue over everything from the games to the food. Susan breaks up the fight with her own party game; everyone will strip the wallpaper off the walls and then decorate the walls with markers.

Everyone is enjoying this new game, and the old neighbors actually start bonding with the new neighbors. Soon everyone is enjoying each other's company; even Trina and Janet are able to bond for a moment. Unfortunately, the fun does not last long. Bruce admits to Janet's husband, Roger that he and Susan had both slept with other people to try out the swinging lifestyle. Roger is stunned and he and Janet abruptly leave, saddened that their former best friends have changed so much in such a short period of time.

For the third episode of Swingtown, there is very little swinging. It focuses more on the impact of swinging on relationships. It is interesting to see how something between married couples can also effect outside friendships. The Decker's make swinging seem so glamorous and easy, but so far it has done nothing but turn the Miller's life upside down. The storylines with the kids need to be dropped or revamped. The Miller's daughter Laurie is irritating and obnoxious, while the Miller's son looks so much like the actress that plays Janet, the audience will have a hard time remembering what child belongs with which parent. The show needs to focus more on the mysterious Decker's and how they got into swinging and the impact it has had on their own relationship. While so many questions remain, the audience will keep tuning in, at least for now.
