How do you deal with the physical aspects of the dating game?
Sometimes, in the beginning of dating, we confuse physical connections with real connections, and the real ones are the connections that will lead you to winning, so to speak. It's understandable because physically feeling good might feel like winning momentarily. However, it's not. You have to be able to feel right both before and after hooking up with the person that you're dating. If you can do both, then you are will be alright.
However, like luck, feelings can be unpredictable for both you and the person you're with. One misconception is that being physical will lead to being closer, but this doesn't always happen. Another mistake made is believing that being physical will make you more mature. Neither of these is true, therefore your choices when it comes to being physical should be based on your own feelings, not those of the one you're with or even your closest friends.
What does it take to win?
Here is the bad news. You will never know when you've lost until you know what it feels like to win. In other words, most people date to find love. To know if you've found love for sure, you'll have to know what it means to find heartbreak. It's sort of the same concept as you have to know evil in order to recognize good. This just means the good old, "You've got to kiss a lot of frogs before you meet your prince."
People date for different reasons and the best bet is to be honest about your reasons for dating. Once you get that out of the way, you'll immediately be able to increase your probability for winning.
