An Interactive Way to Learn

Not only do they have PC games, but they now make games like Big Brain Academy for Nintendo Wii. Now young kids don't have to watch their older siblings using the big game systems. The game is meant to measure a child's brain weight by playing educational games and puzzles.

The fact that children are using video games to learn is a great thing. During the summer, kids never want to pick up a book and do any work. With educational video games, they are learning and some of them don't even realize it. It is like in classrooms; teachers use visual aides such as cards or board games. Video games are like the same thing for your home.

Aside from the educational value of the games, each game can teach children how to use technology such as computers and it can enhance their interaction with one another. It can also teach them motor skills.
