Marco PoloMarco Polo is a form of tag that is usually played in a pool by three or more people. At any time there is always one person who is Marco. Marco has to swim around with their eyes closed trying to find the other players. When the person who calls out "Marco!", the other players must respond by screaming "polo!" That is how the players can find each other.
Red Rover
Red Rover was very popular in the 70's then made a comeback during the 90's when the movie Now and Then came out. Players on a team hold hands, forming a line. The team then calls a player from the opposing team. That player must try and break through two players' hands to stay on their own team. If the player is not able to break through the link, that team will gain control of that player. Before a player would try to break the link, the link would normally say "Red Rover, Red Rover, we call (player's name) over!"
If some of those games don't interest you, it is still easy to keep busy outdoors. Gang up on all your friends and start a water balloon fight or just head to the park to play basketball. Don't keep yourself cooped up indoors and go out and enjoy the summer sun.
