Panic! at the Disco had their debut album come out in 2005. Their first album A Fever You Can't Sweat Out reached #13 on the US Billboard 200. The band's second album, Pretty. Odd, was released earlier this year and debuted at #2 in the US. Panic at the Disco is known for its mock Victorian circus shows, where it brings an entourage of contortionists and dancers on stage with them as they perform.
Gnarls Barkley is a musical collaboration between multi-instrumentalist and producer Danger Mouse (Brian Burton) and rapper/vocalist Cee-Lo Green (Thomas Callaway). Their most popular single "Crazy" won an MTV European Music Award in 2006 and a Grammy in 2007. "Crazy" is the first ever single to top the UK singles chart purely on download sales as it was released online a week before it was released as a CD single. They first met in 2003 when Cee-Lo was on a tour for which Danger Mouse happened to be the DJ. They began working together on the songs that would become the St. Elsewhere album.
