Billboard Breakdown

A top-10 recap of the Hot 100.

Oddly enough, Leona Lewis is gradually making her exit from the top-10! "Bleeding Love" falls from 6 to 9, giving a glimmer of hope that the song will finally end its reign on the top. If you also didn't happen to notice, Natasha Bedingfield is completely gone from the top-10 with her ditty "Pocketful of Sunshine," dropping from 7 to 13. Both songs had a good run, so don't be too disappointed that Rihanna and Weezy are taking up the spots that they could have potentially had.

Otherwise, be sure to stay on the lookout for a few ones gradually hanging outside the top-10. Estelle's "American Boy," featuring Kanye West and produced by will.i.am, moved from 26 to 16 this week. The track is simply terrific, and although it already did its thing overseas, this soul-drenched jammer is going to be in the top-10 within the next few weeks.

Shwayze's "Corona and Lime" made its grand entrance at number 26, earning the "Hot Shot" debut of the week, so be sure to download that one before everyone else adds it to their collection of ringtones. And finally, Kid Rock climbs up from 52 to 38 with "All Summer Long," whose title pretty much says it all for how long it's taken for it to move on up. Regardless, there's a lot of stuff just itching to get into the top-10, so you'll have to just sit tight until next week's edition of Billboard Breakdown to see if they made it!
