Tropic Thunder is by far one of the most outrageous movies that I have ever seen. I never would have thought that a movie about actors making a movie would be that entertaining, but it was. I could not take my eyes off of it.
It is an attack on its own industry. After all, nobody can make a movie negating Hollywood quite like Hollywood. Paramount Pictures, with help from director and actor Ben Stiller, have done it again. They ended the summer with the bang that the movie intended.
The movie is based around a group of primadonna actors who are dropped into a jungle hot zone. They were instructed to add to the realism of making a Vietnam film, however, things go disastrously wrong as real rebels target the group.
