With nothing on TV except The Olympics and So You Think You Can Dance I cannot wait for the fall line-up. What a better way to get back into the swing of textbooks and quizzes then to do it with our favorite privileged upper east-siders...Gossip Girl. Most of us had a summer of annoying jobs working for a little more than minimum wage, while our friends over in TV land were summering in the Hampton's, enjoying Polo matches, overpriced lemonades, and summer romances only made for fiction.
I'm so excited for the new season and without giving too much away there's a lot of juicy drama in the first episode titled "summer, like it hot". Everyone is in perfect Hampton attire. White feminine dresses and the boys are prepped out and sexier then ever. New love triangles emerge which are far from an isosceles.
Will Serena and Humphrey rekindle their love? Will Blair and Chuck finally surrender to their lust addiction for each other? Will Jenny be able to handle an internship with B's mom? Will Nate and Serena have a steamy session in the stables during the Hampton's Classic? And what about the dysfunctional relation ship between Dan and Serena's rents? We cannot forget about Vanessa, will she be getting on the Hampton Jitney? I can't wait for all my gossip questions to be answered.
If you're like me and are addicted to watching the new seasons trailers...genius by the way, than you cannot wait for Monday Sept 1st and it's gratuitous obscenities, which we love. The clothes, the drama, the clothes, the drama, did I mention the clothes? Oh and I almost forgot, Gossip's weekly soundtrack. Finally, we will have some good music to download! Back to school Mondays aren't looking so bad after all.
