Remember when Nintendogs first came out, and you just ha-a-ad to have that little Shih-Tzu? Pretty soon your pup was wearing a party hat and scoring you big bucks in agility trials, but then what? Tom Nook came a callin' and pretty soon Animal Crossing, or another real-time (read: time consuming) DS game had your attention for good, and poor little Shi-Shi was reduced to a hungry ball of filth. Now there's a game out with the same almost disturbing levels of cuteness that also caters to short attention-spans. Animal Paradise is another pet sim game that is exactly what it sounds like.Click here to enter the Animal Paradise Dream Pet Contest and win a PINK Nintendo DS!
Animal Paradise was basically made for six-year-olds, but who doesn't love cute baby animals? Your job is to make friends with as many animals as possible so your photography-inclined aunt and uncle can include their pictures in their album. Depending on how much the animal likes you, you'll earn hearts, and the more hearts you get you'll earn mini-games and cute photos of your pet. For example, my first pet was a Welsh Corgi on my relatives' farm. You can name your pet (I call my dog Muesli), and then you can make nice by petting, brushing, walking, washing, playing or feeding it.
