When I cast my first vote last year in the 2008 primary election, it was an experience that tested my knowledge of citizenship and how it plays a role in my life. Although I had not thought about it at the time, I now realize that other people could be intimidated by the election process as well as the issues, candidates and other different election topics. So, while pondering this question, I decided to write a "How- To" guide that contains five keys to being a great voter. Consider this a guide not just for this election, but for many elections in subsequent years.
