America's Next Top Model Premiere

It's the 11th season of America's Next Top Model, and now it's all about the future ... and being the fiercest of the fierce! The lucky girls come from all backgrounds, states, races and now apparently genders as well. There is a transgender contestant this year, and the two hour premiere spends a great deal of the time with the girls being catty about a biological man in the competition. The premiere starts with a sci-fi theme that involves the judges being "beamed" from place to place and the girls are body scanned. The semi-finalists are cut to a top twenty, and there are clips of each girl being interviewed. A girl from Harvard cannot even name famous Literature heroines, which is her own major. Several contestants know no fashion designers or models, which does not please the judges.
