It takes a lot to incorporate fish wire successfully into fashion designs. However for Layla Abramowitz, combining the unusual has always been her style forte. After much training, from FIT and high-end designers like Zac Posen, Layla jumped ship to start her own line, Ditu. Obsessed with the "flexible possibilities of knitwear," Layla designed her line based around the ways in which she could add structural elements to her knit pieces in order to create a fun and unique line of dresses, cardigans, skirts and more. We sat down with the designer to find out more!
