Couples Who Play Together....

World of Warcraft Mario Kart Wii Sports Xbox 360 PC

One of the greatest cliches in the gaming culture is that of gaming couples: "Couples who play together stay together." This statement, though overused, is not far off from the truth since couples who have a great amount in common are more likely to remain together than those that don't. With that in mind, multiplayer games are great ways to keep the gaming and the love lasting for a long time.

On our first date, my boyfriend and I raced each other in Mario Kart! We love to play video games together! Right now our favorite game to play together is Rock Band!
Baldur's Gate:Dark Alliance has definitely been a strong connection in my relationship.

Gaming together is a great date night idea. Also, going to arcades provides another bonding point!
My boyfriend and I always liked playing games like X-Men Legends together. Something like LEGO Batman is the same since you can be on teams. I think that's what is great about MarioKart; you can be on the same team together! WoW is a little more spaced apart.
My boyfriend and I get competitive to the point of swearing and pinching during MarioKart: Double Dash.

And I really do not agree that a couple playing WoW together will stay together. At least with Wii Sports + MarioKart you're in the same room with the person and talking with other people and looking at the same screen. The former games are more about fun every once in awhile whereas WoW is all about gaining high in level rankings and an on-going type thing... eh, I don't know.
aww my boo and i play games together <3
My husband and I used to play WOW together. The only problem was that he played way more then I did (to the point of being addicted IMO) and I hated how once you were max level everything was about raiding and that takes a lot of time.
