One of the things I really like about HBO's "True Blood" is that so far it has picked up right where it left off in the last episode. There is no flash forward to a day later, or a year later, but a second later so that all the tension and fear from the last episode remains intact. In this case, we had Sookie finding the body of fellow waitress and friend Dawn in her bed. She is strangled, much like the last victim Maudette. Classically, Jason shows up right at the wrong time with flowers and booze, and since this is the second woman he has slept with that died, he gets taken in again. Can't really say it's surprising.
