But then it dawned on me... Guys really aren't as oblivious to fashion as we may think. They're in tune to what WE are in tune to. They know the fads not because they're on style.com every day checking the latest shows, but because they see fashion on us. Whether it's big cinched belts (a "no" in his eyes) or skinny jeans (yes! yes! yes!), they see what we wear and they react to it.
I did a little more research among my guy friends to get a more precise perspective. When I questioned them about the favorite styles girls wear, the popular votes seemed to focus on shoes.
"A shoe with a gold emblem on it, like the Tory Burch's [styles] or any shoe that's flashy but done tastefully grabs my attention," said my friend Dominick DeRubbio.
Whether a heel, a boot, or a flat, apparently if it's gilded, it's golden in his eyes.
