When you think of technology and beauty, you think of the latest in hair appliances. The following objects, however, will prove that the future of technology is not just for tousled locks. It's worked its way into glosses and even, most recently, mascara! Though they can ease the process of styling and certainly make prepping more convenient, use everything with caution. We've come a long way from simple lipstick application and hair-setting in the salon.
Model Co. Lip Lights Ultra Shine Lip Gloss, $28, sephora.com

This isn't the first gloss to have light-up capabilities. Victoria's Secret carried one, too, a few years ago (but discontinued it). The LED lights in this cap turn on when the cap comes off. A plus when you need to apply your gloss at nighttime.
T3 Bespoke Labs Overnight Travel Dryer, $130, Nordstrom.com

This is a personal favorite of mine. It packs the same technology as their featherweight dryer but without taking up as much space. The nozzle part folds inward so that it becomes compact. This little dryer replaced my full-size dryer on a daily basis. It's so much easier to maneuver and just as powerful when it comes to heat and rapidity in drying. It seems expensive, but it's well worth the price.
