Tired of just watching TV over the winter break? Want to feel like you are at least being a LITTLE productive? Well, for you, I've got a list of some great books to snuggle up to during the cold winter nights. These books are actually good for any time, but now is as good a time as any!!
1.) She's Come Undone by: Wally Lamb
This is my absolute favorite book. You have to be at least slightly mature to read this, as it has some matters that may make you uncomfortable. It is about the life of a girl, from childhood to adulthood. She deals with extreme over eating, lying, deaths, and much more. It is amazing because the ideas that the author writes about are so in depth and meaningful. This is definitely a book to read.
2.) Pride & Prejudice by: Jane Austin
Written in the 1800's, this is a timeless classic that talks of love and life. I have read it at least twice. In my opinion, it is Jane Austin's most exciting book (some of her books tend to drag on just a tad). Not only is it insightful, but parts of it are extremely funny, especially the character of the mother. The plot is sort of hard to explain, so just check it out for yourself.
3.) Twelfth Night - William Shakespeare
I have read this in English class, but even out of class it's a very cool story. Though plays were really meant to be seen not read, reading one is a rewarding experience. I would also suggest renting one of the video versions or going to see the production if it is put on at a nearby theater. It is really funny. If you are into acting, you will especially enjoy it.
Happy reading!!

recommend. Some of her better ones Telling Christina Goodbye,
Don't Die My Love, and The Girl Death Left Behind.
