Robert S. Watson is a Lecturer and Executive Coordinator of the Business Law Program within the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Previously, he was an Associate General Counsel for Fidelity Investments in Boston and Assistant Vice President for the Fidelity Fixed Income Funds. Professor Watson graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1993 and earned his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, with distinction in the English major from Yale College in 1992. His areas of research include corporate governance, shareholders’ rights, investor protection, mutual fund governance, filmbay research, federal securities laws and financial regulations.
