So...after a forced hiatus I am back on Kiwibox!  My laptop just would not let me on Kiwibox for anything. No clue as to why. I figure it just hated me, LOL!  I am really hoping to start using this blog exclusively. I know most of my friends use Tumblr or just Twitter to post their thoughts of the day but I have been loyal to Kiwibox since 1999 and I can't just give that up. I love you guys to much <3

So what's new with Jenni?  Not much. 

I work at Target now. (a U.S. Retail Store for those of you out of the country) I work the Electronics Department. I absolutely LOVE it.  I grew up around technology. I even went to technology based schools, elementary through high school. So this Target position was perfect for me since I haven't made my way through college yet. Anyways, so yeah. I'm a retail nerd and Christmas season is officially here in the retail world. It is getting SO crazy.

Let's see, what else is new.  Oh..I'm an Aunt now!  She's almost a year old but I haven't been around for awhile so most of you probably didn't know that.   She is amazing. Her name is Taryn & she is the prettiest baby ever! Of course, I might be a bit biased.  I think I'll put a picture of here soon of her. I have spoiled her silly. She has so many toys, clothes and all that mess. 

Hmm, one of my guy friend's is in a boy band and is currently touring Germany. Perhaps you've heard of them? Varsity Fanclub!  They are great. They're the new Nsync/BSB. They are pretty popular over in Germany but still have a little work to do here in the States.  Kiwibox in the past actually got not one, but two opportunities to interview them. If you check the archives and/or Youtube you will find the video they did for Kiwibox some years back.  Anyway, back to my friend. His name is Drew. He is pretty famous but not a lot of people realize it. He is a singer in a band but that's not all he does. He writes, mixes and produces for other artists both locally in L.A. and also across the world in the Asia Music Market.  He has worked with Miley Cyrus, David Archuleta, SS501, US5, Rich Cronin, Neyo, Iyaz, Charice & TONS more.  He's even worked on Glee as background vocals and he also sang the part of Christopher Wilde in the Disney movie Starstruck (although the lead was played by Sterling Knight, Drew was the vocals behind all but one of the songs)  He is amazing and has the voice of an angel.

Soo...I've had absolutely no time to do anything lately.  Christmas season in the retail world keeps me pretty dern busy. It's been insane...and it's only the beginning of November.

The new Kiwibox is starting to grow on me.  The only couple of things I don't much like is 1.) How the magazine portion is so hidden. You actually have to LOOK for it as opposed to it being right on the front of the website. and 2.) How you can't access others blogs very easily.  How can you make new friends if you can't find them?  Plus I keep running into glitches here & there as well.


OKay thats literally all I have time for today. Off to take a quick nap before work otherwise I won't get any work done. GNITE 

Today was a decent day despite the abrupt wakeup by the lawn mower next door. I got up and went over to my aunt & uncles house and I got to play with my 1yr old cousin. I took over some of her bday presents. I went a bit overboard and I didnt want to try to overpower anyone at her birthday party on Friday night so I took them over today.  She loved them. She was squeeling and laughing. It was amazing. All I got her was a set of wooden blocks and you would have thought it was a 10 ft bowl of cotton candy or something. It was sweet.

While I was there...the actual reason I was there was to fix my Uncles computer. LOL. It's nothing new. I usually have to do it once a week or so, lol. He is not into technology AT ALL and I am like his person tech support guide. It's great. Anyways I fixed them...it was hard...even for me. I still am not 100% sure what was wrong but it fixed somehow so we're happy, lol. I just got home and it is almost midnight so...yeah. It was a good day.

To those of you still around.

So...I got woken up by the neighbors cutting their grass. My head hurts, I'm tired and now I'm pretty darn grumpy too. Today is my only day off work this week and I was hoping to sleep in. Guess that's a negative.  

I can't believe all my Qbooks, Articles & Journals and everything is just GONE...in a matter of seconds... that was 10yrs of my life :( I've been on KB since Nov. 1999 literally...10 yrs. I haven't been lurking as much recently due to some family health concerns and I didn't know this was coming until yesterday morning...when it came. =/  Otherwise I would have tried to back up the most important journals.  Oh well...I guess yesterday marked a new era. Maybe I'll stay another 10 yrs...maybe I won't.

Kiwibox at once point was my entire life. You all knew me better than even my true best friends did. 

RIP Old Kiwibox and Welcome New Kiwibox! 

What's done is done. All we can do is leave it or embrace it.

I for one am going to TRY to hang around and enjoy it but a lot of my friends have given up.
