Hey girls,

It seems like i don't update unless I have pics. But i'm sure you guys don't mind :P
I can't believe summer is almost over.. ugh where did it go?? Time sure does fly these days!
quick updates:
Chase.. he will be 4 months on monday.. ahh.. soo sad. he is growing up soo quickly.. i hate it! I want to keep him this age forever.. he is so fun right now.. constantly smiling, giggling, reaching for things and still LOVES to cuddle! Nursing is going AWESOME, i LOVE IT! and he is now a whopping 13 lbs! yay!! he is getting there!! ALMOST has a thigh roll.. yay!! He has always been a great night sleeper.. but not the best napper but my lord.. this better be a growth spurt. because the last 10 days or so he hasn't slept well at ALL at night which is totally new to us.. AND naps are a nightmare.. ugh! i hope it's over soon!

Landon... he is just so much fun too! he is such a great help with his brother.. and he's doing awesome in baseball.. it makes me soo sad that he is going into grade 1.. i feel sooo old and why do kids have to grow up? why can't they stay like 3 or 4 forever? they are so fun at that age AND you get to have them ALL the time!! I think he is excited to go back to school.. though he won't admit it! We need to go back to school shopping here soon.. :)

We just got back from our big vacation and luke is back to work tonight for the first time since July 17th.. it feels weird to not have him here! We went to PEI, an island a 45 minute ferry ride away for the weekend.. we rented a big 4 bedroom cabin and my parents, luke's parents, his sister, fiancee and daughter, his brother and my two sisters all stayed there too. two sets of luke's aunts and uncles also came and his two cousins and 3 kids between them with their husbands..so it was a great fun weekend! luke's family is soo close and i love it! (all his extended family too).. then we went to the inlaws for 10 days and then on th way home we went to see AC/DC.. it is Luke's favorite band of alll time.. and he had never seem them before.. so he was in heaven, it was cute to see him sooo excited!
So after two weeks it was great to come home.. we got home friday.. had a great trip though :)

Okay.. also while we were away we met up with my friend who did the photography for my wedding so we got chase's 3 months (and sadly his FIRST) pictures done and some family ones! Forgive me please as for some reason i did not suck my gut in in any of the pics.. i sooo wish i ahd but anwyays.. this motivated me to start working out and eating well again.. so i did that started sat.. and next year we will do family pics again and i will be a lot smaller i hope! :) thats my goal!

Oops, sorry it has been a month since I've updated. I WAS doing so well, every week or two. I will try to do that again!
I'll give a little blurb and then some pics :)

Landon is doing well, he finished kindergarden .. passed with flying colors and is enjoying having the summer off! He is in a day camp and goes about 2-3 mornings a week and loves it.. there are lots of kids from school there! He is getting so big and just LOVES his little brother sooo much!

Chase is doing awesome! He is 12 weeks now. We will go to get him weighed today.. but 1 1/2 weeks ago he was almost 11 lbs.. yay! We are completely done with formula and just breastfeeding now which is sooo nice! He doesn't sleep as much as he used it (all day mostly haha) but he sleeps great... 2-3 naps in the day and usually a 10 hour stretch at night.. up at 4 or 6 am and back for a few more hours.. we can't complain! I'm really into wearing him.. and ordered a babyhawk mei tai and can't waittt for it to get here!

I had my 24th birthday on July 3rd and it was great. We went away sat night to a city a few hours away.. It was Luke, me the boys, my mom and we met up with lukes mom, sister and niece. it was fun. we went to the zoo and a big water park. I think next time we'll get two hotel rooms though :p The grandmas weren't planning on coming at first.. so we thought we'd save money and get one.. it was a neat room though.. had a "kids suite" so two different rooms almost!

Hi guys.
THe wedding was last weekend, it went well. It was sooo nice to have all of Luke's family down and of course mine :)
We are all doing well.. Lan only has one more week of school and I'm counting down the days (1 month!!) until luke is on vacation for 4 weeks.. i cannot wait! we have lots of fun stuff planned!
Chase is doing so well.. growing.. 9 lbs 7 oz now at last check.. he is just such a joy!

Okay pictures.. i am sooo sooooo very impressed with how they turned out! My friend from high school did them.. shes a professional :)

Oh and Chase was PERFECT the whole weekend.. slept through the WHOLE wedding and then his baptism/christening the next day too.. :)

okay that's enough.. we're keeping busy trying to work on the basment. we started with putting a bathroom in with money we got from the wedding.. man people are sooo generous!! anyways.. it is a workin progress.. something to keep luke busy!

We are home.. have been since friday the 15th and it's nice. Chase FINALLY passed his birth weight on monday... at 5 weeks.. and is 6 weeks today.. is 9 lbs now .. yay :)
and is doing well. Such a happy little boy.. gets occasionally fussy but really thats it. he sleeps sooo well.. usually from 8 or 9 until 330-4 am then again til 7 or 8. i cannot complain at all. Lan DID NOT sleep.. and cried 24/7. so i deserve this one haha :P

I am breastfeeding. and supplementing with a bottle after each feed.. just with 1 oz to fatten him up.. and add his medication into it..

Not to much going on here.. Lan has a few more weeks of schoo left then summer... and our church wedding is next weekend.. should be a good time!

Happy 6th Birthday to Lan!!
I sooo wish I was home with him :( But thankfully he is in GREAT hands with my mom and dad.. it just worked out that my dad is on vacation this week.. thank goodness!! (though we are very lucky that my mom is a self-employed hairdresser and could have taken the time off anyways...).
We gave him some of his presents (the ones that i had a chance to quickly wrap) on saturday while we were packing a few things up to head here... since we'd miss his party. But i have a few left.. so we'll give those to him whenever we get home!

Okay as for a Chase update.. he is doing well. Had his surgery Monday night .. it went well.... but we're still only feeding for 3 minutes on the breast at a time (approx 1 oz.. which is what they start with). He is still spitting up some each feeding.. but he Has gained a few ounces (yay!!) and had a BM yesterday.. first in about 4 days.. thank goodness! so he is keeping some down! The surgeon says that it can be normal for him to spit up for 4-5 days afterwards because his body is sooo used to it.. but on the other hand he COULD have reflux too.. which i don't entirely feel would be the issue since he's only fussy when hungry.. doesnt' seem to be in pain.. but who knows. So today im going to ask the surgeon when he comes for afternoon rounds if we'd start him on some zantac to see if that helps to determine if its reflux or how we'd go about it?? I just want to get home!! I want him to be better.. and i won't leave before i feel 100% comfortable that everything is better and we know whats going on.. but i'd sooo rather that be sooner rather than later!

Luke was supposed to work mon/tues nights.. so he took those off by using some of his summer vacation time (he has 4 weeks off this summer which im soooo looking foward to!) and he'll hopefully be able to make that time up before then.. but he is supposed to go back to work friday.. and im hoping we can go home tomorrow OR friday.. so that i'd not here much by myself... i think i'd go crazy. thank goodness we have an amazing huge private room with free cable/phone/internet. but STILL there is only so much you can do... and unfortunately i've been eating mostly all day.. there is nothing to do.. ick!! so... i just hope i can get home soon.. i really don't think i could handle more than a day by myself... and my mom would be here with me in a SECOND... but i need her with Lan. thankfully my sisters are just 2 blocks over.. so they can come visit at least! Luke doesn't have fully paid sick time. so he won't use that.. he could use more of his vacation to get this weekend off.. but he was really looking forward to those 4 weeks off this summer and we have loads of plans for going away and stuff.. so i told him we'd be fine.. so he'll have to head home tomororw night regardless (he works at 7 am.. leaves by 615am.. and we're 1 1/2 hours away.. so he wouldn't drive down in the am.. even tho i drive 1 hour each way for work.. boys are wusses haha!!).

Okay this is waayy too long i should try to go shower before chase wakes up to be fed.. he's actually sleeping DURING THE DAY in the crib here.. he usually needs to be held to sleep in the day here ... we dont have his swing or bouncy seat here.. or even stroller.. ugh!
