P.S. If anger is a natural response, what's the deal with the latest trend of being morally opposed to hatred of any and all kinds? Hate is a necessary response to things that are nothing but wearisome & anger-filled.

So

here's the downside to confrontation

If you pick a bad time to confront someone about something

suddenly everyone's night is ruined.

I knew this, but I didn't know it.

So I learned the hard way.

The police were called because my mom doesn't know me.
She doesn't know how to talk to me.
She doesn't know why I might be a tad resentful toward her for all of her bullshit alcoholism & retreating & defeatist attitudes.

She needed a kick in the ass, so I gave her & my step dad one - verbally.

So then the cops come because apparently when you don't know how to communicate you just call the cops instead.

I spent the night in our camper.

It was awesome.
