How to Activate ‘Subscribe’ Button on Facebook?
The Subscribe button is available to all users on Facebook which serves to connect with others while protecting your privacy. With activation of Facebook Subscribe button, you can share with updates with those who follow you in this social network. This button will also be very helpful if you have disabled ‘Add Friends’ button, and you will not have to add these people as contacts to share your updates with them.
With ‘Subscribe’ button you can use your biography to share information with your followers through public updates, while those more private will be seen only by your friends. A profile subscriber will also help you promote your public and professional image, especially if you work in the areas of communications, design and arts. Follow these simple steps to activate this important button and start getting followers on Facebook.
1 – Sign into your Facebook account
To activate the Subscribe button you must first be connected to Facebook. Log in to your personal account and then visit the ‘about subscribe’ page to enable this button in a new browser window where you will see summary of the characteristics of this button.
If you care about your privacy, please note that after activating who subscribe to you can read only those updates that are marked as Public while which you share with your friends will be private, as they have been. When you're ready to continue, click the ‘Allow subscribers’ button.
2 – Subscriber Setting
After activating the Subscribe button, you will see a configuration window. Here you can set how to handle those comments you subscribe and receive related notifications.
If you want that other users can comment on your public Facebook updates, select the ‘All’ option. If you want something more restrictive but at the same time want a broad group of people can access what you share, select ‘Friends of friends’. Finally, the ‘Friends’ option will allow only those whom you have added as friends on Facebook to leave comments.
As indicated, here you can select the type of people of whose activities you would like to receive notifications. You will see them again above mentioned options as All, Friends of friends or only Friends. Once you have made your choices, click OK to save your changes.
If you are a professional who want to share information relevant to your area, I recommend selecting the ‘All’ option activated in both cases. By allowing everyone to leave comments, you will know what your followers say, get answers to your questions and can create a closer bond with them. To receive notifications for all, you are aware of what happens to your subscribers as well as being informed every time you get a new one.
3 – Start Getting Subscribers
Now you are ready to start receiving subscribers. Remember to promote your Facebook profile so that others can subscribe to you. If you have created account on other social networks, you can include a link to your Facebook account in that profile.
Your new subscribers in Facebook will not require your permission to subscribe to you. Depending on how you set up your notifications, you will receive a message every time someone subscribes for you. These subscribers can read all your updates and photos you share publicly.
Remember that you share interesting things and you will have more chances of getting subscribers. Do not copy everything you find on the internet, but write your comments, share photos, post videos and develop your personal and professional personality in Facebook.
Facebook has won the largest audience among social, therefore, it is quite necessary to make a Facebook profile. In case, if Facebook is banned in your country overall or blocked on your device, you can sue a Facebook proxy site and continue using this powerful social network.
