This was never our intention. Firstly, we did not delete the postboards because we didn't care about what you said. We do care and read every single one of them. However, there was some information that shouldn't have been posted in a public forum.Secondly, our intention to switch Kiwibox to change our site was not all black and white as many of your assumptions in the postboard discussions indicate. We are not changing because we don't value you guys and all that you have contributed to us. This was a difficult change but due to the circumstances the company faced we really had no choice. Even though it doesn't seem like it, we are actually saving the future of Kiwibox! It may be different, but we still plan on maintaining the current values of the site. The integrity and content of the site is still up to you. Jobs will remain the same, there will still be a magazine section, news area, forums, etc. All I'm saying is, we are truly sorry that we made you feel disrespected, we really care about you guys. We hope you can stick around for the change, it won't be that bad, we promise! Thanks for listening and if you have any questions, rants, etc., please send me a Kiwinote. My response: If this was the case, then why would you and other main members say such mean things to people on postboards? It's funny when the moderators need to be moderated. Andre told people that if you don't like changes then to disable your account. You said similar things. You didn't say them to me, but I sure as hell felt disrespected. And that WAS INTENTIONAL, if not to me, then to others. (SilverSafpheir) --- We all know the difference between right and wrong. This person said nothing wrong and seemed to be singled out by you guys. What you did is fear-mongering.

My response: Can you clarify what this information is? An opinion? Slander? Can you refer to some official policy you have in place that says that these messages need to be taken down? I want to know what crime this information committed. I have worked for a media outlet that was sued for slander, I have studied media law. I’m sure the rest of your users aren’t idiots. Enlighten us.

My response: People are passionate about this site. You aren't a parent making the best choice for a kid and not letting them have any say. You aren't a government. You're a site for people, by people. People on the forums have suggested setting up a PayPal account if you need funds...we would help. If you just kept us informed, we'd help and maybe, just maybe, be nice to you. You took a site people were committed enough to pay for, and turned it into something I am ashamed of. User input on the new design, layout and functions would have saved you.

My response: Values of the site went out the window a long time ago. I remember when I was an advisor Mike would send me friendly emails letting me know what is going on. You guys never do that stuff. And you had the choice, you made the conscious, deliberate choice to not use every means necessary to contact us. And thus, by default, you screwed yourselves over. First, you had people asking for prizes you didn't have. Lost confidence there. Then, you didn't properly inform all members, not realizing that many members visit on occasion and reminisce on time spent there ages ago. You weren't clear about WHAT changes are going to occur. And you were rude to people who voiced their opinions. BAD communication all over.

My response: I know you're just trying to do the right thing, but you aren't assessing the problems and conflicts you have created. A website that people have a longstanding account with is more than a website. It's more than a login. It's something that's almost like a trusted friend that you incorporate into your day and know is there when you are bored or need something to make you feel good. That's what Kiwibox is, was. But you've destroyed the trust which people had in you, to be that site that would respect you and be kind and not tell you off.

It will take more effort and, I assume, more funds than you currently have, to redeem yourself to many people. I'm sorry this had to happen. I'm sorry you leave me feeling betrayed. Integrity on our part went out the door when respect on your part went out the door.

I know how hard it is to be a media site in today's world. But your approach has changed.
