Hello everyone. This is my attempt at a real entry before I sit down to watch TV and relax for the night. I had a long and eventful weekend so yeah.

On Friday night, Clay and I went to the football game at his old high school. It was really nice, even though there was a lot more security and stuff there than at football games at my high school had (Of course they may have more security there now, I wouldn't know, I haven't been to a high school football game since 2001, lol). His high school won the game by almost 20 points, although the other team was really, really bad and they should've beat them by even more probably.

Saturday morning, I got up bright and early (actually, at 7:30, which is later than I normally get up for work) to go help freshmen at FMU move in. (I also go to network with people at the campus who have important roles there, so that in case I ever apply for a job there, or need them for anything, they'll remember how I faithfully volunteered with the Alumni Association and hook me up with whatever I'm looking for, lol). That was pretty interesting... I met a few new people and helped a bunch of freshmen move their stuff in. It doesn't matter that we're in a recession because all those kids still had a ton of stuff to move in- apparently they didn't cut back on their back-to-school shopping (at least for things for the dorm, maybe for clothes or something, I don't know). They were all really, really thankful for the help though. Some of them wanted to ask so many questions, it was just crazy.

I came home, showered, did some laundry, and took a nap. Then, I got up, got ready, and went to this youth rally thing with my church. It was pretty good, they had some bands who performed there and afterward we went out for Krispy Kreme. I liked it.

On Sunday, I took it easy- did more laundry, went to my parents' house for a few hours and went to see my grandma as well, and went to the gym to lift for awhile. That's about it though... hopefully this upcoming weekend can be slightly more relaxing without multiple things going on in the same day, lol. I hope everyone has a good week :).
