Alright, so I'm not "new" to this whole kiwibox thing. I've been here a while...since December, 1999 to be exact. I just finally gave in and switched my name because it was getting old and lame, haha.
For those that don't know me, I'll give you a rundown:
- My name is Heather
- I'm 22 years old
- I've been married for over 4 years to my husband, Brian.
- He's also 22 years old
- I have a two and a half year old son named Seth Alexander
- He's the only kid I plan on having. The doctors won't tie my tubes for a few more years so we're preventing with birth control right now
- My husband and I bought our house 2 summers ago and it's been nothing but a pain in the rear for us. I guess I can't complain too much since it provides us with a solid roof over our heads
- I have 2 cats, Smokie and C.B. (short for Charlie Brown)
- I'm a stay at home mom and have been for about 2 years now. The hubby works for CSX as a conductor and he's constantly gone. You'll hear me complain often about his job, I'm sure
Anything else, just ask! I'm pretty much an open book. Also, there are pictures of all of us in my profile [:)]
So...yesterday was good. Brian was home all day yesterday (only because he took the day off since someone bumped him off his Monday rest day). Seth went to Glenn's for a couple of hours yesterday and Brian and I did some running while he was gone. I love how excited Brian and I get whenever we get a little bit of time alone, yet the first words out of our mouths in a store are usually something along the lines of "It's so odd not to have Seth here!" haha.
Brian and I had a good night together. We rented "National Lampoons: Pledge This" and it turned out alright. It's more of a girly movie. And the best part--Paris Hilton is totally herself in the movie! No acting required!
Brian made us each a homemade Tom Collins to drink and we watched the ball drop at midnight. It was nice to have him home with me. He hasn't been home with me for the past couple of years on New Years eve.
Today I'm planning on staying home for the most part. Brian's probably going to get called out to work this afternoon, but I'm hoping they'll send him home once he gets the train in. They've ran absolutely nothing over the past few days! Brian has Tuesday off so when he gets home, he'll get 24 hours of undisturbed rest. I just hope he gets in early Tuesday morning instead of Wednesday.
And, that's it from me. Hope you all have a good day!
