Great Halloween Movies to RentPerfect for a night of spooky fun![]() Besides the costumes and candy, one of the greatest things about Halloween is the movies! Ranging from terrifying to silly, there are countless numbers of movies to choose from for a night of spooky entertainment. As far as Halloween goes however, most of the top movies combine fun with fright. Ghostbusters, 1984 This will always be one of the best movies to watch on Halloween. It has ghosts, slime, people who think they're dogs and best of all, Bill Murray. What's not to love? Fright Night, 1985 A teenager discovers his neighbor is a vampire and shenanigans ensue. Sometimes it's terrifying and sometimes it's hilarious, making it a good addition to this list. Hocus Pocus, 1993 For those of us who grew up in the 90s, this movie is a Halloween necessity. The witches are as funny as they are spooky and this tale of a teenager, the girl he likes and his little sister battling three resurrected witches from Salem on Halloween takes you on one fun ride. Oh, and there's a talking black cat. ![]() Halloween, 1978 It's in the title, enough said. The Shining, 1980 It's far more on the scary side than the fun side, but this is still a must for a night of good Halloween flicks. All work and no play may make Jack a dull boy, but this sure isn't a dull movie. The Nightmare Before Christmas, 1993 Is it a Halloween movie or a Christmas movie? We may never know, but watching Jack Skellington and his Halloween Town friends attempt to take over Christmas is great on either holiday. Shaun of the Dead, 2004 This is arguably one of the best zombie flicks ever made. Oblivious Shaun and his buddy slowly realize that the people in their town have turned into mindless drones who want to eat them. The movie has endless amounts of blood and action, and it is downright hysterical. What are your favorite Halloween flicks?

I really like that old black and white soundless dracula movie. His name starts with an N.
But here is the twist. They made another movie where kids are watching this movie, and HE COMES OUT OF THE SCREEN!!!
