Over the past few years celebrities have decided that having only one profession wasn't enough. Now actors are becoming singers, singers are becoming actors, all trying to get the most publicity and money possible with very few successful results. (see JLo, JT, Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, Beyonce) I was all fine and done with this, but now that athletes are getting into the mix...they've just gone too far. If you watched either of the basketball games last night you would have seen the horrible "Dominate Another Day" commercial with Dwayne Wade trying to be some sort of secret agent. Anyways, with commercials being set aside- Dwight Howard has just released his first CD, "Shoot for the Stars", where he covers "jock jam staples". Considering I'm biased I am not going to review the album for you, but I'll leave you with two two simple words before you check it out below- Kidz Bop.

I have done the unimaginable- found a Chargers bar in NYC. MJ Armstrong's on 19th and 1st is an eclectric group of San Diegans joining forces to cheer on the bolts every week. With free beers being passed around after an SD touchdown, it's hard not to have an awesome time at this fine establishment. Though Rivers may not have lead the Chargers to a victory this past Sunday against the Steelers, knowing where I can find a little slice of Southern California has let me walk away a winner this week.
