Country Star Dierks Bentley Welcomes Daughter

Country star Dierks Bentley is a proud new dad, PEOPLE has learned exclusively. Bentley, 32, and wife Cassidy, 33, welcomed their first child, Evalyn Day Bentley, just before midnight on Saturday at a hospital in Nashville, where the Bentleys live. The new arrival weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz., and the happy parents say they'll call her "Evie." Bentley's publicist says the "Trying to Stop Your Leaving" singer - who announced his wife's pregnancy in May ("Cass's eggo is preggo!" he blogged) - is overjoyed by the prospect of fatherhood.
