Vanessa Hudgens Rep Denies New Moon Audition
Just days after it was reported that "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" starlet Vanessa Hudgens had auditioned for a role in the upcoming "Twilight" sequel, "Twilight: New Moon," her rep has shot down all such rumors. Hudgens' rep denied any knowledge of an audition, stating, "I don't know anything about the audition. As far as I know, it's just a rumor."
It was previously reported that Hudgens, known not only for her "High School Musical" fame but for her scandalous nude photos as well, had auditioned for the part of female werewolf Leah Clearwater in the anticipated "Twilight" sequel, a film which is slated to be released in time for this year's Thanksgiving. This was according to MTV, which released the information following the 66th Golden Globes Awards and an after party interview with "Twilight" actress Ashley Greene in which the starlet exclaimed, "I think she'd be great" when asked about the rumors of Hudgens' involvement.
