Yesterday still feels like a dream. Andy gave me an early Christmas present, an engagement ring! I was so surprised! I'm still like, wow! He couldn't wait until Christmas to give it to me. We took it to get it sized, so I hope it comes in next week! I'll have pictures when I get it :)



We don't have a date set, because we're taking it one step at a time. This was the next step after 2 years dating. I feel like I've been with him forever already.

Next step after this is to help him find a farm to milk his cows. If there's a small house on the land that would be an added bonus. It seems so hard to come by, being in an area that's surrounded by farm land.



I'm just daydreaming. I told the woman I babysit for that I'm spending Christmas with my "well, now fiance.." She was so excited for me and gave me a hug and congratulated me!



*sigh* :)

We've talked about getting married before, but we just left it at that. Which doesn't mean we changed our minds. I don't care if we're engaged for 5 years! As long as we can find stable ground to get our lives as a couple together. My rule of thumb, to be living together before getting married. We can get away with being engaged and not living together (for the first year or two - depending on how lucky he can get finding land).



Again, I'm in no hurry. I was perfectly happy taking it one day at a time before the ring came into play. But I'm just as happy!



He kept asking if I like the ring. If it was a "Yes".

Of course I said YES!



I also said, "You know, a lot of girls look at the ring and go YES. They say yes to the ring and not the man it seems." So I looked him in the eye and said YES!



To hear him say I'm the love of his life, and he wants to be with me forever brings a tear to my eye, just thinking about it.



I don't know where I would be without him. He has helped me through a lot over the years. And not just the past 2 years. We've known each other for like, 6 years or so.

Book Review Video

I haven't had much to write about lately. I haven't even been keeping up with my Blogger blog. I have a few recent posts. But I can never get into the swing of things. I don't have a unique writing style, I honestly think anything I write is boring anymore. I haven't been up to much. I've been reading and just recently got out my yarn and loom knitting stuff. I bought a new yarn and I'm making a scarf out of it. I might make a trip to JoAnn fabrics sometime in the near future to get more yarn. I'll probably make a ton more scarves. The thing about making them with the loom knitter is that you don't have to count like with crocheting (which I'm horrible at) and it's faster if you stick to it long enough. If I don't have much time during the week I can get it done in a few days. One skein of yarn (a normal size is 5 oz) can make the perfect length scarf. I am also working on a blanket for my boyfriend. I have different shades of blue picked for him. One shade is light the other is medium. Then for the top boarder I have a yarn with a blue mix. I have 4 looms. The largest is perfect for blankets. And the smallest is perfect for scarves/blanket boarders. I will take pictures when I'm done of course. I will post all of that to my Blogger blog. And I will work on deleting some of the many pictures I have uploaded here so I can add more. I just love yarn. Just about as much as nail polish and books. I loved books first, so to love the others just as much means something. I've never been big on painting my nails. But now for some reason I make it a habit. Right now I'm obsessed with a color called Last Dance by Confetti, and I bought it at CVS for $1.99 ($2.12 with tax). It's a deep cranberry type color. I have to write two book reviews on my blog. One for Sugar Daddy by Lisa Kleypas and Pray for Silence by Linda Castillo. I should go do that now. I wrote more here than I thought I would. =]
