[bgcolor=black]This morning I woke up to frost on my car. Where are you, summer? I'm already bored of this job & I've only been here 5 months. I didn't get bored of my last job until well over a year! And that was only after I realized that they weren't going to make me a salesperson. So with no opportunity for advancement I was hardly motivated to show up. But I did, of course.. I always show up for work like I'm supposed to. Hopefully the next year and a half will go by faster than the last few months... I want that CO job & a houuuuse I'm sick of apartments! haha [:)]

Anyway, enough about boring old work! Last night Terence and I stayed in. We ate some dinner, I watched The Devil Wears Prada & he played his video game. I love that movie. It makes me want to move to New York. I did check into that once... a studio apartment the size of our living room would be like $1,000 a month! For a freaking crappy ass studio apartment? Don't think so. I also looked into buying a motorcycle last night, but as of right now I am not willing to pay all the start-up fees. Such as a new jacket (approx. $250), years worth of insurance (approx. $500), the bike itself ($3,000). I'd much rather save four a house. Which I've been looking into aswell. I think it's because I'm geting anxious about signing another year long lease at my apartment. I'm not used to staying in one place so long! We'll probably be moving to the Valley as soon as Terence graduates. Here are some examples of what we're looking into:

I figure for our first place I'd like something modest, but can still look elegant once I dress it up. What I'm looking for would have at least 3 bedrooms, at least a 2 car garage, at least a good 300ft away from any other houses, with high ceilings & a nice kitchen. Oh & preferably wood floors in the main area. I'm not into carpet throughout the entirety of the house... it's a bit tacky to me. The ones that we've looked at are large ranch-style homes & 2 story single family homes. We're probably going to keep the house for a good 5-10 years until we either decide to move out of state or get a bigger place. At that point we'll probably rent out the starter-home.

This one is 3 bedroom, 2 bath, vaulted ceilings, fireplace, 2 car garage, walk-in closet in master, & it's right next to the Valley Golf Course. & the best part? Only $225,000.

This is only $600,000 3 car garage, 4 bedrooms, spanish style house. I love brick, I love bright walls, big windows, the patio doors in the bedroom, it's in a gated community, etc.

We've talked about moving right out of college so if we do we're probably heading to Texas & getting a house like this straight off! But we'll see... it'll be hard for me to leave Alaska... my entire family is here aswell as his. But maybe we'll look for something with a "mother-in-law home on the property & have my gramparents move in! & I can buy my grampa a Linclon like Elvis had! [:)]

Anywaaaay I guess that about does it for this entry. It got a lot longer than I was planning haha... have a good one!


I forgot to mention that the 2nd house ISN'T in Alaska. It's in Texas. (Note: Alaska doesn't have outdoor swimming pools)

[bgcolor=white]Mondays... I have a huge cup of coffee today & am listening to Metallica. When Terence turns 21 we're starting a new tradition. Margarita Mondays. Or Mojito Mondays... not sure which one yet. So my weekend was full of food. Friday we went out to the Valley (like I mentioned in my last entry) to have dinner w/ Terence's mom & we all ordered pastas. Saturday was Terence's aunt's boyfriend's 50th birthday & we had a huge steak dinner there. Sunday we had steak and eggs for breakfast since they sent us home with 4 big steaks & then we had to go to Terence's dad's for dinner who served a STEAK PASTA. Agggggghhhhhh... I am still full! Last night we finished off the weekend with some beer & Paper Mario. Terence pulled his motorcycle out yesterday! Man, does he look cute in biker jacket & boots! [:)] I'd like to go for a ride with him but I want to buy a riding jacket first. I have a cute pink helmet & gloves so I am going to go with a black jacket. Toomuch pink would be a major overkill. I would like to get my own bike but considering my car insurance I'd hate to even think about how much motorcylce insurance would be!! Maybe I'll get some quotes anyway. Like I've said before... I'd looove a Harley but I would look so awkward! I probably couldn't even hold it up! Haha... I'm looking into Kawasaki 250s. Maybe even a Triumph Daytona! [:D]

Yesterday was fun! Terence and I woke up and got ready to head to the mall to check out some sale. We got some Subway & only paid $1.10 for it since we had a giftcard! [:)] Then we decided to head out to the Valley to see his dog Biscuit. We had dinner with his mom & Kelley (Terence hates him, but surprisingly did well during the dinner... I'll tell the story of Kelley another time). Then we went to Anthony & Kelly's (different Kelly) to see their baby, who is so incredibly adorable! We got a bunch of Bud Light, I tried a Clamato drink... interesting.... & tonight I'm going to drink this beer that replaced the water with peach juice or something so I'm excited! Today we're going to look for a prom dress for my younger sister! [:)] Have a good day girls!

I don't feel motivated today. Again. Last night I ended up not making dinner. By the time my shift was over my migraine got so bad I was shaking, my stomach was sick, it hurt to move my eyes, & I was just a wreck. I went home to lay down in the dark until I had to pick up Terence. I took my medicine & went to bed around 8pm. The problem with my medicine is that the next day after taking it I always feel hungover. I don't have a migraine today but I'm still kinda shakey, groggy, & tired although I got about 10 hours of sleep. Time feels like it's going by soo slow. It's only 8:30am & I'm stuck here until 6. Oh well, atleast today is my Friday! I don't think that Terence and I are going to go to Hawaii. It's kind of irritating because he was talking about it for like a month & now when I bring it up he hardly responds. It's okay I guess I'll just go shopping instead haha. I spilt some Redbull Italian Soda in my hair & it's all tangled in one spot. I think I'm going to put a flower in my office next week or something to make it bright & happy. Every time I come to work my mood changes. I just don't like working in an office... I like getting involved in the business, not sitting on the sidelines transferring money around. I am ready to be a CO now, but again... just like the sales job I'm "too young". Sorry for sounding all negative I don't mean to be. But you know... some days...

At least it's sunny out! There's still some snow on the ground but overall I see quite a bit of grass. Granted, it's all brown but it's grass nonetheless! [:P] I'm going to head back to Kohls tomorrow. By myself. I hate shopping with other people & ESPECIALLY with Terence. I don't like being rushed & I have a very particular way of shopping some people don't understand. My way of not buying things I don't need is: I'll go around & pick up things I like... then gradually I'll start setting them down while still looking around haha. I started a journal on Blogger all about "effortless style". I'm sick of looking at magazines & hearing about all these celebraties "effortless" styles... uh most of their outfits cost more than a used car & they have stylists! But whatever, what I'm looking for are key pieces I can put in my wardrobe that'll add to simple outfits because I'm seriously just a jeans & tshirt kind of girl. So somethings I'm looking for right now are: a leather jacket, a pair of nice sandals, a pair of black moccasian flats (for work), a tote, & a great pair of kahki pants... that's all I could come up with right now. Jeez my entry has gotten a lot longer than I expected. Hmm well I guess I should try to make it look like I'm working even though I finished all of my projects yesterday & the day before... haha.
