i bombed the exam. which i knew already so it wasn't a big deal. but i am the only one in the class that knows he is going to allow to do some work on it, and earn back some points. so to that its a good thing. plus there was already mention of a curve which would be wonderful. i think there were only nine people in the class that actually passed the damn thing.

so what does that tell you?

and while i would have liked to have gotten off early, we didn't. and i even managed to stick it out through the entire class which is a good thing because we got some extra points on the quiz since most of the class left right after the quiz. sucks for them. but i am all willing to take whatever points i can get at this point.

i just need a C. that is all. not asking for the world here.
and only eleven more weeks til the end of the semester and i can say good rideance to the subject and if all goes well will never have to take another math class in my life.

so while he didn't allow us to go home to early, he let us out ten minutes early. which was just enough time to hall ass through the parking lot, race home and at least watch the first hour of greys the second is going to have to wait til i get home this afternoon...it was a depressing episode but good. heartbreaking is more like it. i am interested in seeing how they are going to play out with the season, since they keep advertising that its the season that changes everything.

we shall see.

i rode with andy to work today, we haven't done that all week. -we try to carpool when we can-so anyway its payday and we start talking about things. i get to work, were i get on to our account and stash money away. yes i put money in our account. i move to our second account we have at the moment deemed logan's school funding and needs. so i transfer over. i tell andy to go look to get his opinion. and he says.

'the little bugger has over a thousand dollars in his account already.'
'yep.'
'how much do you put in there.'
'depending on the week, 20-40 dollars.'
'you know we dont have to put that much in there. he already has a thousand!'

so what proceeds is him telling me how we dont need to worry to much about it for now because we will be saving for a lot of years to come. and i am thinking, true but it will be here before i know it. plus some of the money came from family as gifts. and we had some already in the previously that we just added on to.

and then its like, whats the matter saving, college is expensive now, i hate to think what its going to be like in eighteen years. and i doesn't have to go to his school. it could be for a car or something. the point is i dont see why its such a big deal that i am saving money. i mean isnt it a good thing. wouldnt we want to be prepared just in case....

i know i dont need to put tons away. and really i dont think 20 from each of our paychecks is a lot. i feel bad its not more. yes i know we have our own account, and yes i put money in there. more than the 20 or so i put in his.

so why the big deal?
seriously?

i tried to remind him, he came into the marriage with a thousand dollars to his name. combined in all of his accounts and that i came with a hell of a lot more.

why?

because i am a saver. because i know what its like having to pay for everything on my own, doing everything on my own. and i would have loved if my parents had done the same for me.

and one day.
he will thank us for it.

i almost guarantee it.
