Bout time for another entry, eh? haha

Well, I'll start with today...

I had a job interview at Payless. :D I'm excited. i really hope I get this job. I need it.

And today was my second day of school at Globe. :] I had to get up early for an 8:25 class. ugh. Not a fan. haha But, so far, classes are pretty good. I have 4 all together. Applied Color Theory, Design Fundamentals, Interpersonal Communications and Student Success (or something like that. haha I only have it once a week, and that's tomorrow).

This past weekend was not very eventful. Blehh. It's been raining for almost a week and it's coooolld. They're saying it's gonna be in the 30's by this weekend. Not ok. :|

I haven't seen Ben since his show on the 24th. :/ That guy is so damn busy all the time. He got kind of a promotion at his work, too, so he's there a lot. *le sigh* I talk to him every day, though. He always makes me smile. :D

I just really wanna spend more time with him. Like.. just us. Cause the night I went to his show by myself, I had an amazing time. I can't imagine if I hadn't gone. I'm so glad I did. But now I'm like.. I miss that. ugh.

Right now his band is looking for a new drummer, so I don't think they have any shows set up. And really, that was the only time I ever got to see him. And now I'm like.. I don't want it to be another month before I see him again, ya know? :/

Anyways...

Not this past weekend, but the weekend before that, I went to the Owl City concert in Minneapolis. I went with Alyssa, Courtney, and her roomie, Amanda. The concert was really fun. You can check out pictures.

After the concert, however, we found out Alyssa's van had been towed. :/ We parked at a Taco Bell and apparently (in Minneapolis, anyway) they tow your vehicle if it's been sitting there too long. psshh. We weren't the only ones who got their car towed, either. So, yeah, that sucked. But we rode a taxi to the impound lot and got the van back.

It was expensive, though. Like.. $150-ish? gahh.

Well.. I'm gonna go get some stuff done so I will talk to you all later.

Hey people!

So, tonight is the Owl City concert. :D If you haven't heard their music, you should go check them out. It's a little different, a little Hello Goodbye-esque. I like it. So I'm excited.

Thursday night, I went to Ben's CD release at the 400 Bar in Minneapolis. :] I was originally gonna go with Courtney and her roomie, Amanda. But Amanda was sick, so they couldn't make it. I ended up inviting Alyssa and Tony, and we had a good time. We didn't stay too long cause Tony had school the next morning. I didn't get to see/talk to Ben a whole lot, but I hugged him goodbye. *eee!* haha But the band sounded awesome, of course. haha And me and Alyssa bought their CD. I did get to talk to Ben's friend, Chris, though. :] He was there the first time I met Ben. In fact, it was at Chris' parents' cabin in Pepin where I met them. I hadn't seen him since June, so it was nice talking to him again. He's super cool. haha

Anywaayyy... I need to run to the bank quick, before they close. So I'm gonna go do that now. Hope you all are having a good weekend!

I keep replaying friday night over and over in my head.

Ben is amazing.

He held doors open for me. pulled my chair out for me. was a complete gentleman.

he gave me his setlist.

he hugged me goodbye.

that was HUGE for me.

as far as I'm concerned, there are two types of guys-

A: The guy who claims to be a gentleman. He'll talk about how nice he is, how he "knows how to treat a woman", how chivalrous he is... but you'll probably never actually witness any of this. Or if you do, it'll seem forced or fake. Because it is.

B: The guy who is modest and doesn't talk about how nice he is. Instead, he shows you in his actions. He doesn't show off. It'll be little things that catch your attention. And it comes naturally. He just does things without hesitation or question.

Andy is type A. He says he's a gentleman, but I've never seen him do anything that impressed me. He just talks about it.

Ben is type B. :] and I absolutely love it. He's never said a word about how nice he is or anything like that. He just is who he is and does what he does... and his actions speak for themselves. He's incredible.

I can't stop thinking about him. It scares me a little bit.

I thought I was crazy about Lyle...

but that was nothing.

So last night was awesome. :]

I knew Ben was playing a show in Maplewood, which is about 25 minutes away. I was thinking about going, but I didn't know if anyone could go with me, and I was a little apprehensive about going alone just because it was at this bar/nightclub so I figured it'd be kinda awkward if I went alone. So I was waiting on Tony to see if he could go, but by around 9:30 I was like... screw it. I'm just gonna go.

So I ended up going over there by myself. I was really nervous. I got there and saw his band play a couple songs. I snagged a picutre. ;]



You can't see his face, but still.. gorgeous. haha as far as I'm concerned, anyway.

But yeah. I ended up having a great time. of course. I got to sit with him and hang out with the band, which was fun. I mostly hung out with him and Aaron, who plays guitar. They're both super gorgeous and talented and funny, so I seriously felt like the luckiest girl ever. haha I loved it.

And Ben was a total sweetheart. He was such a gentleman. He'd hold doors open for me, pull my chair out for me... it's little stuff like that that really gets me. He's just so considerate. And then he introduced me to someone he'd just met (from another band) as "one of his good friends". :] now.. of course I'd prefer to be his girlfriend. haha but honestly, having him add that in there made me really happy.

And he was just kinda cleaning up stuff that was left on the stage, and he found his set list and he gave it to me. I thought that was adorable. haha I didn't ask for it or anything. He was just like "do you want my set list?" awww. haha

The best part of the night? He hugged me goodbye. :D I was ecstatic. Mainly because the first time I hugged him, it was a little awkward and I wasn't really sure about it... like, was that weird? was he ok with it? ehhh. haha But this time HE initiated it and it was adorable.

We all left the place at around 1:30 AM and I went and visited Ashley at Freedom cause she's working overnights now. So I hung out with her for about a half hour. Then I went home and couldn't fall asleep cause I was still giddy and happy and just.. excited.

His band's CD release party is next week in Minneapolis. Courtney and Amanda are gonna come and stay in Hudson for the weekend, cause we're also seeing Owl City on the 26th. So I'm really excited for this next week. :]

So yeah. I'm just really happy overall and I'm super glad I went last night. And honestly, I'm glad that I went alone. I didn't have to worry about anyone else and I could just spend some time with him, which was nice.

Well, I'll stop gushing and whatnot. haha
