oh dayyumm it's been a while since I've written an entry. haha where to begin..?

Alyssa moved into our friend cathy's house. Cathy's parents moved somewhere for their work, so Cathy still lives at the house and a couple other people live there too and just pay rent. She had another room available, so Alyssa decided to move there. The other people are moving out in early October, so I'm kinda sorta thinking about moving in also. It's only $200 a month, which is super cheap.

The only thing stopping me is the fact that it would most likely be temporary. Like.. less than a year. Cathy is thinking about transferring to Eau Claire next year because she could minor in Japanese. And she would have to live over there. So if she moves out, her parents would probably just sell the house.

Soo... I don't really know what to do. On one hand, it would be sweet living there with her and Alyssa. But then... ould it be worth it if I'd have to move again in less than a year? mehh.

In other news...

not too much has happened with me and Ben. We've been talking a LOT lately though. :] he's SO cute. ughh. But today I decided to kinda put my foot down in a "we need to hang out soon" kinda way. haha I told him he needs to teach me how to play my guitar, which is very true. I've had an acoustic Fender for years now and I still don't know how to play it. Sad. :/ and since he's a pro guitar player, he could definitely show me a thing or two. haha And it sounds like he genuinely does wanna hang out and stuff, but he's pretty busy. Right now he's balancing school, work, and his band. So... I understand. He has his own life, and I love that. I just really wanna be a part of it. So it's a work in progress. :]

Lyle randomly decides to text me every once in a while. pshh. He's so lame. I'm over him completely. Really, I don't even care anymore. I just think he's an ass, so when he texts me me, I'm just like.. "reeallly?" haha It's kinda funny. But whatever.

I'm still getting school stuff settled. It doesn't start till October. I swear, they make you jump through hoops just to get a loan these days. ugh.

Heyo.

Sooo.. Saturday night went well. I mean, I honestly didn't really know what to expect from it, so.. yeah. haha Me, Tony and Alyssa went to the bowling alley/bar in Apple Valley to see Ben (and his band, of course haha). We bowled for a little bit (which I suck at, by the way) and then Ben appeared out of nowhere. He's good at that. haha

Alyssa and Tony were kinda bugging me, though, cause they were kind of acting like they didn't even wanna be there. At first it was fine, but eventually we had to stop bowling cause we could only afford a few rounds. So then we just hung out and waited for his band to play. And Tony and Alyssa were just being so... blah. =/ I was like, seriously, liven up!! haha I dunno. Alyssa kept saying she was bored, and it made me feel bad. Like, sorry I dragged you here. Jeez. ugh. I honestly had more fun when Courtney came with me to their gig in St. Paul. I wish she could've been there.

So after his band was done playing, we were just hanging out outside cause Tony and Alyssa were smoking. I wasn't sure what Ben was doing, so I just waited for a little bit. But then he called me and asked where I was. aww. haha It's silly, but I get excited about little things like that. So he came out and talked to us for a little while, which was nice. :]

I told him I need to take him to Como Zoo cause he's never been there. Along with the drive-in and Denny's, cause he's never been to those places either. He said he's game. :D So yeah... I wanna spend some alone time with him cause we've never actually spent time together when it's just us. Ugh I'm nervous, cause I like him so much and it takes me a while to really get comfortable with someone. So at first I feel a little awkward and don't really know what to talk about or.. how to be. haha But I guess most people feel that way, right? *sigh* I'm excited, though.

Alyssa keeps telling me I need to tell him how I feel and stuff. And I know I do. I want to, but it's like.. god, where do I even begin? How does one start that conversation? I just recently got over Lyle after I got screwed over by him... ughh... now I'm so scared to put myself out there again. I hate it.

Alright. Anyway... I'm supposed to go mow the lawn. But I started my period today, and it's hurting like a bitch, so I'm having a hard time mustering up the motivation to do it. It sounds awful. :/

But I guess I should go do that... along with laundry. yaaaay. :p

Greetings. :]

Ben was totally drunk texting me last night. haha He didn't tell me until later that he was drunk, but I kinda figured he was, because a) he was at a party, and b) what he was saying made no sense at all. haha It was entertaining, though. And I'm always just happy to talk to him at all, so I didn't really care.

I've been trying to be less obsessive about texting him. haha I kinda have a problem with that sometimes. It's hard, though, cause it's like, when I really like a guy, I wanna talk to him ALL the time. So I'm like... alright, just back off a little bit. Give him a chance to miss you. haha

He and his band are gonna be playing in Apple Valley on Saturday, which is about a half hour drive. Sadly, though, I found out this place is 21+ only. I was SO upset. ughh. But I found out the club has a bowling alley, so I decided we'll just go bowling and hopefully see him afterward. :D So far, me, Alyssa and Tony are going. Maybe Courtney. Sooo I'm excited. Should be fun.

I'm gonna hang out with Courtney today. I don't really know what we're gonna do, though.

It was so ridiculously humid yesterday. It was crazy. And last night, we had some really severe weather. There were funnel clouds just a little north of town. I like storms, but when they get that dangerous, it makes me nervous. Ugh.

"-------------------------" - a message from Cali. She insists on sitting on my lap, which is also where my keyboard is at the moment. She's such a baby. haha

Anyway. Next. The road trip.

It was a loooong drive. Driving time was about 10 hours, but it took longer cause we stopped a few times. We went down through Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, and then we camped at a KOA site in Benton, IL which is on the southern border. The place was pretty nice. We slept in a tent. Very old-school. haha They had an awesome pool, which was nice cause it was super hot/muggy down there. ugh.

We explored the are a little bit, just drove around. Then me and Alyssa went to the concert Friday night in Evansville, IN. I was amazinggg. Especially Shinedown and Staind. ahhh I love them. haha

But overall, it was fun. :] So glad we got to go.

Aaaand.. last Saturday night, me and Courtney went to one of Ben's shows. :D!! His bend 7th Ascent was playing at this nightclub for a breast cancer benefit in St. Paul, MN. They're so good. I love it. And of course, I was totally psyched simply cause I got to see him.

He is so amazing, you guys. *sigh* haha I've been just gushing about him like crazy. I can't help it. He's gorgeous, he's super talented, he's a sweetheart, he has a great sense of humor.. oh god, here I go again. haha But yeah. He's slowly moving into his apartment in Red Wing. He and his rommmate will be moved in by mid-August, and he says I can come over any time. eeee!! I hope he knows I'm gonna be there like every day. haha jk.. kind of.. ;]

But.. I'm so excited. Gahhh. I can't wait.

But yeah, the show was really fun. It was so good to see him again. We also got to meet people from another one of the bands, too. The lead singer was totally flirting with me and Courtney. haha He was cute. He gave us demo CDs of his band, Detour. They're pretty good, too.

So.. I've also been trying to get school stuff figured out. But I need my w@ form from Best Western so I can fill out my FAFSA paperwork. I called the hotel yesterday, and Cindee (the owner) wasn't there. The lady said she'd be there today. So I called a little bit ago, and apprently she still hasn't been there yet. *sigh* Woman... I need this document like.. yesterday. haha I hope she calls me back today and I can pick up my W2.

Anyway, it's really nice out and I kinda wanna go for a walk downtown. So I'm gonna go get ready and do that, and then later me, Tony and Alyssa are going to St Cloud, MN to visit Alyssa's cousin for a while.
