When I was younger, in elementary school, no one was really "popular". I was friends with soo many people who are popular now. It was like, all of a sudden, we go into middle school and these people wouldn't talk to me. I used to be best friends with 2 of the most popular girls in my school now. One lives across the street from me. I've always wanted to be popular. I mean, don't get me wrong- I hate the popular girls at my school. They're slutty, preppy, snobby..ugh. Yeah. But I was always jealous of them. They always had people around them who wanted to talk to them and do stuff after school. I mean, I have friends and all, but...it seems like we never really do much together. And I always wonder, what actually makes them popular? The fact that they wear tiny shirts and short shorts? The fact that most of them are super skinny? I'm not really sure... I've always been kind of quiet and shy. I'm extremely self-conscious. Except when I'm around people I'm comfortable with. A lot of the popular girls at my school pick on people and talk behind their backs. Personally, I've never really been picked on, but I know people who have. It's really sad. How can they be so immature and mean? I'll never understand it. School *//* TV *//* Dentist *//* Not much goin onSchool registration is on the 16th. *shudders* I'm so nervous and excited about starting High School. Part of me is terrified, but on the other hand, I'm kind of excited because it's something new.
Well, my dad finally got his big screen TV that he's been wanting. He also got a surround-sound system with a DVD player, VHS, and a sterio. So, it's pretty cool. We got 3 free DVDs. I got the Fast and the Furious. I have to go to the dentist tomorrow. I am sooo not looking forward to it. My mouth always hurts and feels so uncomfortable afterwards. It sucks. I'm hoping I can get to the orthodontist before school starts. I wanna see if I can get the Invisiline braces. That would be really cool. My orthodontist said I'd need braces for 2 and a half years.
